Red Team engagements are full-scope targeted attack simulations that mimic the tactics, techniques, and procedures of a sophisticated threat actor. They are designed to assess the prevention, detection, and response capabilities of a security-aware organization with an active and mature security program.
A well-executed Red Team engagement will accomplish each of the following objectives:
- Provide a realistic taste of the tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) used by real-world threats against external and internal infrastructure.
- Identify missing or weak security controls, vulnerable systems, and blind spots in the organization’s detection capabilities.
- Provide realistic practice for the organization’s cybersecurity staff (Blue Team).
- Each phase of Digital Silence’s Red Team engagements is designed to test the organization’s ability to prevent, detect, or respond to a specific attack pattern.
