Digital Silence is pleased to be adding a new face to our cybersecurity team with the addition of Justin Montalbano as a senior security consultant. Justin adds to our current bench of deep API, cloud, and embedded system knowledge as a senior member of our testing team. In his role he will enable the Digital Silence team to expand our penetration testing services beyond smart medical devices, entertainment devices, and web applications to other automotive and critical system testing.
Graduating with a B.S. in network security from Davenport University, Justin’s career began working within information security where he was able to gain experience providing network bandwidth analysis from internal IT and internet service providers. He later went on to make his mark as a cybersecurity technical lead where he designed and implemented a plan to develop a global cybersecurity organization and lead the development of an automotive penetration testing red team.
“Justin’s unique skill set working on automotive cybersecurity, as well as his leadership and support of the Defcon Car Hacking Village, adds a level of depth and uniqueness to our already outstanding team of cybersecurity professionals,” said JT Gaietto, chief security officer.
Justin was most recently a developmental security operations lead with Aptiv, a global technology leader that addresses challenges through deep software and systems integration expertise, and a cybersecurity instructor with the University of Michigan.
